While processing credit cards using authorize.net I receive the error "error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed." What is causing this and how can the problem be corrected?

To update Emerald root certificate database unzip https://www.iea-software.com/ftp/emeraldv6/authnet.zip
into 'cacerts' subfolder of main Emerald directory where Emerald was installed on your Emerald server.
Once file has been unzipped into cacerts you will be able to process transactions normally.
