For operators not in the Admin group, you must give them add/read access to the Client Object Group, as the Audit Logs table is a part of the Client Object Group. If the operator group does not have add permission to the Client object group, the add of an audit log entry during an add/edit/save will silently fail.

Once you change security settings, make sure you select Reload Configs from the Web Config section in the Emerald admin for the new security settings to take affect.
