When I view the failed transactions report, why do some entries show up with the retry button, yet others do not?

Only automatic card transactions can be automatically retried. When you retry -- current credit or eft information in the service is used to retry the transacaction that previously failed. Manually entered card payments must be voided and re-added as different card information than what is on file in the MBR may have been used to make the origional payment.
